Therapy with Michele
A Space to Understand Yourself…
You do not have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy.
You can have a full life, meaningful relationships, a career, friends, and people who love you and still want a space that is entirely your own.
Sometimes therapy is simply a place to think out loud. To understand why certain relationships affect you the way they do. To notice patterns you may not see on your own. To talk honestly about the things you replay in your head, question about yourself, or keep coming back to.
You do not need to arrive with a diagnosis or even know exactly what you want to work on. It can be enough to want a place to think, reflect, and understand yourself more deeply.
What We Might Explore…
You may find yourself thinking about the relationships in your life and why some feel easier than others. You might notice that you hold back, have difficulty letting people get close, or repeat patterns without fully understanding them.
Therapy can also be a place to explore your relationship with yourself: how you make decisions, what you second-guess, what you want from your life, and the parts of yourself you are still getting to know.
Our conversations might include:
Relationships & intimacy
Identity & sense of self
Confidence & self-doubt
Anxiety & overthinking
Life transitions & decision-making
Family dynamics & relationship patterns
Loneliness & disconnection
Some people come to therapy with something specific they want to work through. Others simply want another perspective and conversations they may not be having anywhere else.
My Approach
I believe therapy is a collaborative process grounded in warmth, curiosity, honesty, and genuine respect. More than anything, meaningful therapy begins with feeling truly seen and understood.
I aim to create a space where you can slow down, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin to see yourself and your experiences more clearly. I’ll meet you with curiosity and care while also offering honest reflection and gentle challenge when it feels helpful.
My approach draws from humanistic psychology, self-compassion, positive psychology, and solution-focused techniques, but I tailor our work to you: what you need, what matters to you, and what you hope to better understand.
